Environments
Waasl runs two environments. The sandbox mirrors production with the stage. prefix on every host.

Use wsl_test_ keys against the sandbox. It accepts the same requests as production but simulates WhatsApp — messages move through queued → sent → delivered → read without reaching a phone, so you can build and test without a Meta account or messaging fees.
Simulating inbound messages Coming soon
Section titled “Simulating inbound messages ”In the sandbox you’ll be able to post a fake customer message to trigger message.received and open a 24-hour window:
